Exoskeletons to Protect Workers in Manual Labor

Working in manual labor usually requires a lot of heavy lifting. Examples of workplaces that usually face a lot of heavy lifting are hospitals and nursing facilities, warehouses, construction sites, airports, shipping ports, etc.

Wearable robotic exoskeletons can be used to help reduce pain and injury and increase comfort for manual laborers. At the moment, established companies (e.g. Panasonic and Hyundai) and startups are alreading developing products for the aforementioned markets to make shoulder, lower back, and leg intensive tasks easier for manual labor workers.
